Residents are not permitted to consecutively schedule bulky item pick-ups during the months of June and July. A minimum of eight weeks is required between pick-up requests.
Construction, renovation or demolition materials are not eligible for a bulky item pick-up and are not collected at the curb. You can bring these materials to the Mohawk Street Landfill Site for proper disposal. Tipping fees will apply.
You can request to have large household items and appliances picked up on your regular waste collection day.
Submit requests at least seven days before your regular garbage collection day.
A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to cancel or modify requests.
As a City resident, you can have your bulky items materials collected at curbside twice a year:
Once between the months of January to June, and
Once between the months of July to December
This service may not be available to all business and multi-residential locations.
